THOMI GLOVER

Thomi Glover has been practicing yoga since the late 70s in Calgary where she completed her teacher certification in 1979. Since then Thomi has participated in numerous yoga and related personal development workshops including the Yashodhara Ashram three months Yoga Development Course in 2000. She currently practices Iyengar yoga with Elizabeth and “power flow” with teachers in Vancouver and Duncan. Both traditions feed her body and spirit.

Thomi wears many hats… as retired Anglican Priest, leadership consultant and facilitator, professional coach, spiritual mentor, Associate Faculty Member Royal Roads University and grateful resident of Mayne Island and Sophie’s walking buddy. (Sophie is a much loved  golden retriever who knows way more about being in the moment than Thomi ever will.)

She has been drawn lately to the challenges of transition as the theme appears repeatedly in her leadership and personal coaching. And so she is delighted to partner with Elizabeth to offer a workshop combining the exploration of our journeys and the experience of asanas that open us to new and creative possibilities.

NANCY SCHNEIDER – CHEF

Nancy will be providing Saturday lunches for all the workshops.

Nancy Schneider’s personal choice of nourishment has been a vegan and live food diet for the past 30 years. She believes that what is more important than what we eat is how we eat it. She believes that if food is prepared and taken with an attitude of love and thankfulness, it is actually that “love” which nurtures our bodies and souls more than the actual food. Food preparation then becomes an act of Bhakti yoga, and of the consciousness she strives to develop.
