HORMONE YOGATHERAPY FOR WOMEN
Hormone Yoga Therapy (HYT) for women is a natural and holistic method created by a Brazilian psychologist and Yoga therapist, Dinah Rodrigues. HYT is a dynamic form of Yoga Therapy, whereby the objective is to reactivate in a natural way the hormone production of the endocrine glands of women: ovaries, thyroid, pituitary gland and adrenals. HYT combines elements of classical Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Tibetan energy circulation techniques.
HYT consists of a special series of Dynamic Yoga exercises (asanas) to reactivate hormone production and, as a consequence, it eliminates most symptoms of hormonal imbalances. Asanas are accompanied by intense breathing techniques (pranayama), energetic level, concentration, visualization and relaxation (Yoga Nidra). Regular practice helps to harmonize the hormonal system and consequently eliminate the symptoms of low hormone levels.
HYT exercises are very simple but dynamic and suitable for everyone.
No previous Yoga experience is needed.
Once you have learned and memorized the sequence/method, daily practice takes approximately 30 minutes.
HYT is recommended for:
Typically women from 32 years of age as a preventative therapy due to the decreasing ovarian activity and an associated gradual decrease in hormone production of the two main female hormones: estrogen and progesterone.
Women of all ages with the symptoms of low hormones, with difficulty to achieve pregnancy, polycystic ovaries, menstrual disorders, premenstrual stress syndrome (PMS), ovarian cysts and premature menopause.
Middle-aged women who wish to eliminate or alleviate the unpleasant symptoms of the onset of menopause, such as hot flashes, insomnia, night sweats, emotional instability, depression, headaches, difficulty concentrating, remembering, decreased libido, etc.

HYT helps eliminate symptoms from the following:
Perimenopause, Menopause, Post Menopause,Premature Menopause
PMS (premenstrual stress syndrome)
Infertility (caused by hormonal imbalances or poor blood circulation in the pelvic area. Tubal adhesions caused by muscle spasm can be also eliminated) Polycystic ovaries (symptoms of which include: hirsutism, infertility, acne, weight gain)
(PCOS)
Irregular or loss of menstruation and ovulation
Ovarian cysts
Depression, emotional instability, memory impairment (caused by low levels of thyroid hormones)
Low libido, dry vagina

“I came to HYT feeling exhausted, anxious, and disconnected from my body. After a few sessions, I noticed my sleep improving and my energy slowly coming back. Heidi creates such a safe, grounding space — I never felt rushed or pushed. The practice helped me feel calmer in my body and more balanced emotionally. It’s become something I truly look forward to.”

“I’m in my seventies and honestly didn’t expect yoga to make much of a difference anymore. I was still dealing with disrupted sleep, night sweats, and low energy, and felt resigned to it. After practicing HYT for a few weeks, I noticed I was sleeping more soundly and feeling calmer in my body. Heidi’s approach is gentle, thoughtful, and deeply supportive. I feel more balanced, steadier, and more connected to myself than I have in years.”

“I started HYT because my cycles felt irregular and I was constantly stressed. I didn’t expect such a deep shift. The combination of movement, breath, and relaxation helped me feel calmer and more in tune with my body. Heidi explains everything so clearly and makes the practice feel accessible, even as a beginner. I leave each session feeling grounded and energized.”
